Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

  1. General Manuscript Requirements

- The article must be original research and has not been previously published.

- The manuscript must use the Official CivilTech 2026 Template.

- The length of the manuscript is 10–15 pages including references.

- Use Times New Roman font, size 12, single spacing.

  1. Title and Author Identity

- The title must not exceed 16 words, Times New Roman 14, bold, centered, each word capitalized.

- Maximum of 5 authors.

- Author names in TNR 11.

- Institutional affiliation and full address in italic.

- Include the corresponding author’s email address.

- DOI will be added by the editor.

  1. Abstract and Keywords

- Maximum 150 words.

- Written in a single paragraph without subheadings.

- TNR 10 font size.

- Must contain background, objective, methodology, results, and conclusion.

- Include 4–5 keywords.

- Provide Abstract in Indonesian and English.

  1. Article Structure

- Introduction

- Research Method

- Results and Discussion

- Conclusion and Recommendations

- Acknowledgment (optional)

- References

  1. Introduction

- Approximately 500 words.

- Contains problem formulation, literature review, and research objectives.

- Must include State of the Art and novelty justification.

- References from journals published within the last 10 years.

- Use a Reference Manager (Mendeley/Zotero) with Harvard Style.

  1. Research Method

- Presented narratively (flowcharts are not allowed).

- Explain research stages, theories/formulas, data, and analysis.

- Equations must use Microsoft Word Equation.

- Minimum 20 reputable journal references (≥2010).

- Harvard Style using Reference Manager.

  1. Results and Discussion

- Begin with narrative explanation followed by tables/figures.

- Results must be compared and confirmed with previous studies.

- Table titles above tables (not bold).

- Figure captions below figures (not bold).

- Graphs must be created using Excel.

  1. Conclusion and Recommendations

- Written in paragraph form, not bullet points.

- Must answer the research objectives.

- Recommendations must be based on research findings and opportunities for future research.

  1. Acknowledgment

- Written in paragraph form if applicable.

  1. References

- Minimum 20 references.

- Majority from reputable journal articles.

- Publication year ≥2010.

- Harvard Style using Reference Manager.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
